Urban Girls Garage Sale - March 17, 2013

After learning about this event taking place this Sunday in Belltown, I decided I should join in and that I am way overdue for a major closet purge and an opportunity to sell some fabulous garments, most of which are new or with tags.  I posted a selection of shoes earlier this week, but this is only a tiny amount of what I am prepared to let go of.  

Unfortunately I found out last night that I would only have an area for one 6’ table, and one garment rack at the sale.  Ack.  I probably should have purchased two spaces.  So with that, I have no idea where to take all of these things and I’ll only be bringing a small selection to the Urban Girls Garage Sale on Sunday.   I will likely bring them to a consignment store in the next few weeks.

Urban Girl Garage Sale! Sunday, March 17, 2013

So, it's finally time for MAJOR closet purge.  After seeing an ad for an upcoming event, I've decided to  take part in an event called the Urban Girl Garage Sale!  It's happening in Belltown on March 17, 2013.   Over the next few days I will be posting some previews of what I will be selling.. of course if anyone is interested in anything, please contact me! :)

What better way to return to my blog than to rave about one of my favorite indulgences in Seattle!  Piroshky, Piroshky in Pike Place Market... Not to be confused with other Piroshky spots scattered throughout the city.  I think this spot might be the best one!

Anthropologie - Alstroemeria Tee by Deletta

I looked for this tee in stores when it was full price but was unable to find it locally.  I forgot about it, but the other day while browsing the Anthro sale, I found it, one left, in my size!  I love this top even more in person than the photos!

Review - List - Belltown - Seattle, WA

List

I'd been wanting to give List a try for quite some time... So, before seeing a show at the Crocodile, we decided List was going to be a good choice.  It's a tiny restaurant, easy to miss, located on 1st in Belltown.  It's a 21 and over spot, so no children allowed!  It's a small restaurant, that seats maybe about 36 people.

I used to shop at Nordstrom Rack religiously... To the point where people knew my name there.  Yes, it's a little embarrassing.  I moved further away, so as a result, went to the Rack less and less over the years.  But, every once in a while I still love to go and find great deals!  

Today, While browsing the tag sale, which is where they do additional mark downs on already low prices, I found this cute Halogen Cardigan, amongst other things...

Seatown Seabar and Rotisserie

Located next to Etta's in the Market is Seatown Seabar and Rotisserie, another Tom Douglas creation... The menu consists mostly of seafood for obvious reasons, and unfortunately there isn't much for my SO to eat here.

Review - Salumi

Armandino's Salumi

What do I say that hasn't already been said about Salumi? If you love the swine, Salumi is the motherland. Porchetta, pancetta, sopressata, Guanciale, you name it, they make it.   From what I understand, Mario Batali's Dad, Armandino Batali went to Italy specifically to learn how to make these the real Italian way.   I don't really like to wait in lines for food but this is one place in Seattle that I will stand outside in the rain without an umbrella for! Fortunately this time there wasn't a line, one of the pork goddesses looked up to take my order, and I said,"One Porchetta and one meatball and Gorgonzola please!"
