Review - Lola (Dinner Review)

Lola - Dinner

Food:
Ambiance:
Service:

I have been to Lola numbers times for brunch, which is phenomenal, but this review is solely about a recent dinner expierience.  We were looking for a late night dinner spot, Lola was perfect!  Lola is located in the lobby of the Hotel Andra in Downtown Seattle... It's Tom Douglas's greek inspired restaurant.  Lola is always bustling, and the food is always consistently good... Just as I would expect from Tom Douglas!

Jackie's Greek Salad $12

Jackie's Greek Salad with barrel aged feta was really outstanding.  The cucumbers were crunchy and the tomatoes were sweet and fresh.  It was a generous portion, perfect for sharing.

Chicken $12 and Pork $13 Kebabs

We followed the salad with Washington Chicken Kebabs with yogurt and dill. The chicken was really tender and flavored just right.  The Berkshire Pork Kebabs with honey harissa were good too.  Both went really well with the charred onions - which may have been the highlight of this dish.  It's kind of pricey, around $4 per Kebab.

Loukoumathes $8

We finished our meal with dessert, the Loukoumathes.  These are really similar to the doughnuts you can find at brunch - They aren't as light as the doughnuts, the Loukoumathes are more dense.  They are deep fried, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.  Lola's version is drizzled with honey, cinnamon and sugar and sprinkled with walnuts.
