What better way to return to my blog than to rave about one of my favorite indulgences in Seattle!  Piroshky, Piroshky in Pike Place Market... Not to be confused with other Piroshky spots scattered throughout the city.  I think this spot might be the best one!

Changes....

Sorry everyone... I haven't felt much like blogging lately... I have been pretty busy, not to mention going through some major changes in life! I have been a telecommuter for most of my working career, and last Monday that came to an end. My job has moved to a traditional office of bad flourescent lights and cubicles in Renton. Blah. A 45 minute commute, without traffic, for a job I don't love. Not to mention the lack of sleep. I hope to get back into gear soon, but right now it's just a period of adjustment... But I am not very confident that I will ever get used to waking up when it's still dark out!

Review - Toulouse Petit - Seattle, WA

After doing a little shopping at Urban Craft Uprising my Mom, my friend and I decided to go to Toulouse Petit for lunch.  I just returned from a week long cruise to Alaska (which I will blog about soon) where the food was absolutely horrible, and I was craving something good, anything good.  A little spicy Cajun/Creole food on a sunny day in Seattle sounded great!

Spinasse is a cute and intimate Italian restaurant on Capitol Hill.  The white lace curtains add to the charm, as do the mismatched chairs and bar stools. 

Anthropologie - Dolan Tuck Cardigan

I really don't need any more gray sweatshirts/cardigans, but I saw this one on sale for $30, and couldn't pass it up!  I love Dolan - They are simple clothes with great details... The Tuck Cardigan has an open front, and longer arms with thumbholes in them.  Contrasting pleats along the side, that match the contrasting draped collar.

Almost hidden in a tiny strip mall along Eastlake Ave is Nettletown - It's in the old Sitka & Spruce location and next to Eastlake Teriyaki. After meeting a friend in Capitol Hill we decided to try lunch at Nettletown.

When the sun finally comes out in Seattle I am ready for a pedicure and sandals... The other day I was in the southend, and decided to stop by Nordstrom Rack at Southcenter in Tukwila, WA.  I like their shoe section, instead of throwing one side of hundreds of shoes on a shelf, the Southcenter location has them all neatly lined in boxes.  I really appreciate that, it's not nearly as messy and you don't have to wait in line for the "mate".
